From April 15 to 19, 2019, with the coordination of Dansong XU, the chief representative of the China International Investment Promotion Agency (Europe), the representative office in France brought a French delegation to Shenzhen,Bao’an District, Chongqing and Chengdu, and accompanied the delegations to match with local enterprises andinstitutions. .

On April 15, the delegation firstly came to Baoan District, Shenzhen. In themorning, the delegation came to the Baoan District People's Government for a symposium. The delegation was warmly received by Xueliang ZHOU, deputyhead of Baoan District. Investment Promotion Agency of Bao’an District,Economic and Information Agency, Industry and Information Technology Agency,Transportation Agency, Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureauand other leaders of Bao’an District attended the forum.

The head of the delegation, Roger BATAILLE, introduced the purpose of the delegation'svisit and the needs of the each company. The leaders of Bao’an Districtintroduced the advantages of their respective industry fields and the possible cooperation points with France. The deputy head of Xueliang  ZHOU attentively summarized the needs of eachproject of the delegation and propose the matchmaking with the localentreprises.

In the afternoon, the delegation met respectively their partners arranged by the Baoan District according to their different needs .

The delegation left Baoan on the evening of April 15 and arrived in Chongqing. Asarriving in Chongqing, the delegation was treated by Yaobo SUN, executivedirector of Pangu Meitian Tech (http://www.meitianiot.com), and discussingin dining about the potential cooperation in the fields of intelligenttransportation and logistics.

On the morning of April 16, the delegation held the discussions  respectively with the Chongqing Investment Promotion andFacilitation Bureau and Promotion Bureau for Bussiness Invitation of ShapingbaDistric. Jiakang FU, deputy director of Chongqing Investment Promotion and Facilitation Bureau, and Huaidong HE, director of Promotion Bureau for Bussiness Invitationof Shapingba Distric as well as other leaders warmly received the delegation. At the symposiums, the delegation learned that Chongqing currently has a largedemand for smart manufacturing and aviation logistics.

In the afternoon, the delegation also went to their respectivedocking enterprises and institutions to discuss the specific project,cooperation points and landing needs, especially visited the Chongqing Western Logistics Park and Chongqing Science City which is around Chongqing University Zone.

On the evening of the 16th, the delegation left Chongqing andarrived in Chengdu, Capital city of Sichuan Province, for the annual “Well-knownChinese and Foreign Enterprises ‘Visit to Sichuan’” (hereinafter referred to as“Visit to Sichuan”).

The theme of this year is “Reform and Innovative Development,Global Openness and Cooperation”, which mainly includes one main activity andsix special events.

On the morning of April 17, the delegation attended the “2019 Well-knownChinese and Foreign Enterprises Visit in Sichuan Investment promotion meetingand Project Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony”.

Secretary of a provincial Party Committee Qinghua  PENG, attended anddelivered a speech. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor Yin Li presided over the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference Zunping KE, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Xiaogang DENG also attended the meeting.

The members of our delegation carefully listened to the economic and social development of Sichuan, and the cooperation opportunities as well as the key cooperation areas combining their projects and enterprises with Sichuan.

On the afternoon of April 17, the delegation attended the private meeting of the 2019 Sichuan-Overseas Enterprises Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Conference. The head of the French delegation, Roger BATAILLE, mayor of Ervy Le Châtel and the Vice President of the French National Characteristic Town Association, spoke and expressed the friendly cooperationsand exchanges between France and Sichuan Province over the years. The important role of enterprises in bilateral economic cooperation and interaction is to continue to promote economic and trade exchanges and jointly meet the challenges of the 21st century. After the meeting, Mr.BATAILLE also accepted interviews from various media to express that “the construction of characteristic towns needs to pay attention to sustainability and jointly establish an ecosystem”

After the conference, the delegation docked with Sichuan local enterprises such as HandeInformation Technology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Railway Investment Guangrun LogisticsCo., Ltd., Hongtu Logistics Co., Ltd., and Yimidida . The projects such as smart health,healthcare, logistics and smart transportation are highly concerned by local enterprises and institutions.

On the evening, the delegation and the Lixian People's Government took dinner together, mainly promoting the cooperation agreement signed between Lixian County and French village Ervy-le-Châtel in September 2018. The county Mayor Shiwei WANG and other learders of the County attended. The Consulate General of France in Chengdu and the other members of the delegation also exchanged their respective cooperationentry points with Li County.

On the morning of April 18, the delegation came to the Consulate General of France in Chengdu, Business France Director in Chengdu ClaudeMESEGOSA, Agathe SCHIBLER, Economic Counselor of the Consulate General  of France in Chengdu, Senior Official of Business France in Chengdu Ting XU and Bin LI also well receipted the delegation.

On the afternoonof the 18th, the delegation went respectively to the Networking with their potential partners. Yonggang LI also led some members of the delegation to the Office of Sichuan Branch of China-Europe Investment Association which is located in Business & Innovation Centre forChina-Europe Cooperation.

The smart logistics company Fretlink went to Sichuan Logistics Airport Co., Ltd. to meet Sichuan Port Logistics Office, Sichuan Airlines Logistics, Yingming E-commerce and other enterprises and institutions.

On the afternoonof April 19, the delegation went to the last station of their visits in China - Chengdu Sino-France Ecological Park, participating "The French Entrepreneurs Salonof the Sino-France Ecological Park in 2019”sponsored by the Chengdu Sino-FranceEcological Park Management Committee and the Europe-China Investment Association.

Wen ZHANG, deputy director General of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the services of  Transport, Health, Logistics, Agriculture and Rural and related enterprises attended the event as well.
