In order to promote biomedical and medical technology innovation, research and international exchanges and cooperation of industrialization, Sino-French bio-pharmaceutical industry has developed rapidly and the investment cooperation is becoming increasingly close. On May 18-21, 2017, Zhang Yuzhong, deputy director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, led a delegation of Chinese biomedical investors to visit the French counterpart. Commissioned by him, the French Deloitte & Touche and the Europe-China Investment Association jointly organized the Sino-French bio-medicine investment forum with the theme of " Sino-French cooperation and win-win in the field of biomedical cooperation ". 

     More than 100 people were invited, including the Chinese Ministry of Commerce Investment Promotion Bureau Deputy Director Zhang Yuzhong, the Chinese Embassy Economicand Commercial Counselor Division in France First Secretary Xiao Guofeng, France Governor of the province high France Eugene JOHNSON, Paris thirteenth district deputy mayor and councilor Chen Wenxiong, Villejuif mayor adviser Jean-François HAREL, France National Silver Economic Association Director-General Catherine MARCADIER SAFLIX, Vice-President of the CDC International Capital Investment Company Phllippe PRONOST, Deloitte & Touche Charles BEDIER, and the Europe-China Investment Association Chairman Li Yonggang and so on.

     The seminar was held by Charles BEDIER, and Zhang Yuzhong introduced the work done by the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce in recent years to promote the two-way investment between China and France and looked forward to the Sino-French cooperation in the biomedical health industry.

     Subsequently, Xiao Guofeng introduced the 2016 Sino-French Economic and Trade Committee during the 24th meeting, and stressed that the Chinese Embassy in France will promote the Sino-French cooperation in the silver economy together with the UN.

     And then by the Weihai City Investment Promotion Center European Minister Song Yifeng and Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone Commercial Bureau Chief Section Sun Ping, especially medical equipment and biomedical industrial park were introduced. They also introduced the development of the local park status, advantages and cooperation needs of France.

     Then, five French and Chinese guests attending the forum held a roundtable dialogue on "Sino-French cooperation in biomedicalcooperation", including:

     After the meeting, the participants of the Sino-French guests were on the free exchange. Under the organization of Europe-China Investment Association, the French innovation enterprise Devinnova wearing ECG monitor company general manager Fabrice VAUSSENAT with a product prototype communicated with Lu Guangjun, General Manager of Beijing An Shun; Lyon Center Hospital Director Daniel FLAMMANG and the Ministry of Commerce Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Biomedical Industry, Deputy Director Jiao Wei discussed the introduction of syncope into China.

     The successful activities promoted the Sino-French medicine health industry exchanges, the exploration of the two sides of the market opportunities, the integration of the two countries biomedical industry and has played a role in the joint efforts of China and France to a wider range of biomedical investment cooperation.

In the afternoon, the delegation also visited the largest "silver valley" pension industry cluster in the Paris region, and was warmly received by the cluster director Benjamin ZIMMER and the cluster of innovative entrepreneurs.
