In order to promote the friendly trade between Guangxi and France, on June 5, 2017, Ma Jixian, Deputy Director of the Commercial Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, led a government delegation to visit France. The International Investment Promotion Center (Europe), the Europe-China Investment Association, and the European Union Schumann think tank jointly organized the 2017 China Guangxi (France) investment business and processing trade industry matchmaking seminar.

     More than 80 people were invited, including the former French Minister, the European Union Schumann think tank Chairman Yamina BENGUIGUI and Vice President Florence GABAY; Counselor of Chinese Embassy in France Gao Yuanyuan; Chief Representative of the European Representative Office of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Xu Yaojun; Consultant of Mayor of SAMOIS SUR SEINE Marie-Françoise BOURGUIGNION; French Smart City ADVANCITY Industry Cluster Director-General Florence CASTEL; French Silver Valley Pension Group Director Benjamin ZIMMER; French Large Industrial Alliance Claire GUILHOT; Secretary General of the world's leading product export union, Martine FUMEY; and Li Yonggang, chairman of the Europe-China Investment Association.
